INTENTIONAL HEALING & SPIRITUAL SUPPORT

I offer one-on-one, group, and family counseling rooted in presence, deep listening, and sacred respect for your unique path. Sessions may include breathwork, somatic practices, EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry and mindfulness, woven with the wisdom of shamanic and ancestral traditions.

This work supports mental wellness, trauma recovery, grief, codependency healing, and those seeking deep, transformative change. Whether you're facing personal challenges, navigating addiction, or longing to reconnect with your true self, our work together is an invitation to return to wholeness through the body, spirit, and heart.

I also offer support for families and loved ones impacted by addiction or trauma, honoring healing as a collective journey.

WHAT IS EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the body-mind reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional charge and allowing for deep healing. It's especially effective for trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and compulsive behaviors.

EMDR doesn’t just treat symptoms, it supports the unburdening of old pain, limiting beliefs, and emotional stuckness. As these layers lift, clients often feel more connected, confident and present in their lives.

EMDR INTENSIVES

EMDR Intensives are extended therapy sessions designed to support deep, lasting healing in a focused and nurturing environment. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives offer 4 hours of dedicated time (with regular breaks) to process trauma, emotional pain, or stuck patterns with greater depth and momentum. Throughout the intensive, we’ll incorporate grounding practices, breathwork, and mindfulness to support your nervous system and create a more immersive healing experience. These tools help you stay connected to your body, regulate emotion, and gently integrate what arises, making the process feel more contained, safe, and transformative.

EMDR Intensives can be booked as a single-day session (4 hours) or as a multi-day format for more extensive healing. Multi-day intensives are ideal for those seeking deeper work or looking to turn their healing into a self-care retreat on beautiful Bowen Island. The natural surroundings offer a calming backdrop for reflection, restoration, and meaningful change.

Whether you're addressing trauma, anxiety, addiction, or compulsive behaviors, EMDR Intensives offer a spacious, supportive path toward reconnection, clarity, and lasting relief.

My individual counselling services are designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. MY APPROACH

I am Brooke Evans, a dedicated yoga practitioner and Teacher and a holistic wellness counsellor with a passion for guiding individuals and families towards balance and recovery.

I bring over a decade of experience supporting individuals on their transformative journey towards healing and self-discovery. With a Master's in Social Work and registration with the BC College of Social Workers, and extensive knowledge and training in yoga and mindfulness, I merge evidence-based practices such as EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry (Dr. Gabor Mate) CBT, Somatic Approaches with a profound respect for diverse wisdom traditions of this land.

My approach to counseling integrates Eastern yogic and Buddhist philosophies, as well as a Western psychotherapy and a deep respect for Indigenous ways of knowing, recognizing the interconnectedness of our inner landscape with the natural world.

I am a First Nations Health Authority counsellor, I honor and bring a deep respect for Indigenous wisdom and land based teachings.

I am also an approved Crime Assistance Program Counselor, I provide crucial support to victims of crime, guiding them through their journey of healing and resilience.

In every session, I strive to create a space of safety and gentleness, inviting clients to embrace their journey with kindness and acceptance. Together, we embark on a path of healing and integration, fostering resilience and inner peace.
